Koyo Seiko Co. Ltd was founded in 1921. In January 2006, it merged with Toyoda Machine Works to become JTEKT Corporation. Today, as of April 1, 2022, KOYO Bearings has been officially renamed JTEKT Bearings. This is only a brand name change, the company and the bearings remain the same.
